Probation Violation: On 03/17/2014, police arrested Brendan A. Strunck, age 22, Cambridge Drive, on the strength of a probation violation warrant.
On 02/13/2014, Strunck was convicted in the Madison Circuit Court for Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Heroin), 3rd or greater offense. He was sentenced to two years in prison. The imposition of the sentence was suspended and Strunck was placed on probation for three years under supervision.
On 03/15/2014, a bench warrant was issued for Strunck’s arrest for violating the conditions of probation.
On 03/17/2014, officers located Strunck on the Eastern Bypass and took him into custody without incident. He was lodged in the MCDC.
Theft: On 03/17/2014, a resident in the 100 block of Fifth Street reported that a Troy Bilt tiller, model #634A, had been stolen from her carport sometime during the past week. Witnesses reported seeing a green, 1970s model Chevrolet pickup truck with rust on the body back into the victim’s carport on 03/13/2013. It was reported that a white male, approximately 45 years old, with brown hair, wearing a flannel shirt and blue jeans, was driving the vehicle. The male exited the vehicle and loaded the tiller into the bed of the truck. He was accompanied by a white female, approximately 35 years old, with reddish brown hair, wearing a yellow/green T-shirt and blue jeans. The two then drove away with the tiller.
